Training Coordinator

-Host and facilitate orientation of new hires; coordinate participation and engagement of office team.
-Work with management to ensure a smooth transition of new hires from on-boarding and orientation through the firs 90 days; identify additional education/training needs.
-Arrange shadow shifts for caregivers needing extra training -Create educational opportunities for employees to promote and encourage professional growth.
-Perform supervisory visits/training in clients' homes as necessary.
-Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Things you may need:
Associate degree or higher in Business or Human Resources or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Additional medical training (CNA, HHA, MA) -Preferred Experience with public speaking along with excellent presentation skills- Required Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and other healthcare industry-related software.
- Preferred Experience in an office setting, preferably in private duty home care or healthcare- Preferred Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor in all situations.
Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to lawfully work in the U.
S.

They will help develop and implement educational programs that are aligned with the goals of Visiting Angels.
You will serve as a resource to caregivers, providing them with additional trainings, information, support, and guidance as needed.
You will help plan and coordinate orientations, monthly trainings, and additional trainings for caregivers.
