Summary:
The Procomac Filler Operators are responsible for the total filler operations, from the Stericap ? Steribag systems to the delivery of filled bottles out of the filling area. This includes overall coordination of the production line which requires effective communication between the Ingredient Processing Operator, Blowmold Technician and Packaging Operators. They must also understand product supply criteria, operations, tracking of materials, Quality Assurance testing and aseptic protocol.

PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES:
- Work safely and report any unsafe situations.
- Operate water sterilization system, Unidox system to ensure proper supply of sterilant to filler.
- Ensure proper application of caps and hermetic seal achieved.
- Monitor and adjust filler for net content control.
- Coordinate effective and efficient changeovers, complete effective and efficient changeovers on filler.
- Provide, maintain and verify correct procedures and practices are adhered to in the operation of the sterilization, production, and CIP/SIP (clean in place) filler, tanks, transfers and all other support equipment.
- Monitor CPs (control points) and CCPs (critical control points).
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance and adhere to the quality standards outlined in the HACCP plan, QMS and other quality SOPs.
- Pull product samples and perform quality inspections on the product and packaging as required.
- Update and input data into SAP and other on-line tools.
- Perform the sanitation of the equipment and area (includes disassembly and assembly of equipment).
- Take action and ensure that proper follow-up has taken place when quality defects occur.
- Perform autonomous maintenance on the line and area (include basic lubrication, inspection, cleaning, tightening, measuring wear and other attributes, listening and observing line running).
- Participate in review of the preventative maintenance plans.
- Generate work orders in AMM.
- Work with others to identify the root cause of downtime & determine effective counter measures. Ensure that downtime is accurately recorded in a downtime collection system such as SAM.
- Work with your peers and the team to make recommendations on how to improve the operation to optimize production with positive contribution to all key plant indicators safety, quality, cost, and performance.
- Follow-up on issues to ensure that they are completed and that the issues are addressed.
- Responsible for the operation and performance of the line or area.
- Effectively and efficiently operate, adjust and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Utilize SPC and other tools and training to manage the process (includes equipment controls, net weights and operating parameters).
- Maintain housekeeping.
- Ensure that usage of ingredients and packaging material and labor hours are accurately recorded in SAP.
- Untilize Nestle Continuous Excellence tools, Logbook, Shift Hand Off (SHO), Daily Operations Review (DOR), etc. to manage work in order to meet business objectives.


REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
High school Diploma or GED

Experience:
Two years work experience or post-secondary education
